On the sidelines of the World Investment Forum, H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber, held meetings with H.E. Mr. Abdoulaye Seydou, Minister of Trade and Industry of Niger; H.E. Mr. Jam Kamal Khan, Pakistan’s Minister of Commerce; and H.E. Dr. Amer Bisat, Lebanon’s Minister of Economy and Trade, and Mr. Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, to discuss strengthening trade and investment cooperation and exploring opportunities for the private sector. The meetings were attended by Qatar Chamber Board Member Mr. Mohamed Al-Obaidli.
Separately, Al-Obaidli met with Mr. Simon Madjidi, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, in the presence of Ms. Abena Amoah, Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange, to discuss investment opportunities available in Ghana.

Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, First Vice-Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, received a business delegation from the Republic of Senegal led by Mr. Bakary Sega Bathily, Director General of Senegal’s Investment Promotion and Major Projects Agency (APIX), and including Ms. Habibatou, APIX's Investment Director. The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Sheikh Tidiane Sall, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar.
The meeting discussed trade and economic cooperation between Qatar and Senegal, and ways to strengthen partnerships between the business communities of both countries.

Qatar Chamber and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic signed two agreements on cooperation and the establishment of a joint Qatari-Kyrgyz Business Council.
The agreements were signed by Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman HE Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic Avazbek Kerimbaev, in the presence of Qatar Chamber Board Member Dr. Mohammed bin Jawhar Al Mohammed.
The agreements were signed at the conclusion of a meeting held at Qatar Chamber's headquarters with the visiting Kyrgyz delegation.

وقعت غرفة قطر وغرفة قيرغيزستان اتفاقيتين للتعاون وتأسيس مجلس اعمال قطري قيرغيزي مشترك، حيث وقع الاتفاقيتين عن غرفة قطر سعادة السيد محمد بن احمد بن طوار الكواري النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الإدارة، وعن غرفة قيرغيزستان السيد أفازبيك كريمبايف نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة، بحضور الدكتور محمد بن جوهر المحمد عضو مجلس إدارة الغرفة. وحاء توقيع الاتفاقيتين في ختام لقاء الغرفة مع الوفد القيرغيزي والذي عقد اليوم في مقر الغرفة وتناول علاقات التعاون بين البلدين في المجالات التجارية والاقتصادية وسبل تعزيزها، ودور القطاع الخاص في تنشيط الاستثمارات المتبادلة والمشتركة.

ICC Qatar will be represented at the World Investment Forum 2026, taking place in Doha from 25–27 October.
H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of Qatar Chamber and ICC Qatar, and John W.H. Denton AO, Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce, will take part in this high-level UN investment platform bringing together global leaders from government, business, and international organisations.
