I’m very disappointed with the Grok bot today. Something has to be done with the fixed instructions and the in-conversation ones because it made huge mistakes that will cause me a lot in my career. It changed the form of the doc without asking me. @grok @bot

Researchers at the University of Bonn (Germany) reprogrammed immature blood cells from an 80-year-old into neural stem cells (cells that can become neurons). Using epigenetic clocks (which track chemical marks on DNA that change with age), the cells registered a molecular age under 20 — a reversal of more than 60 years. Unlike earlier methods that rapidly reset cells by first making them fully pluripotent (stem cells with unlimited potential), this direct conversion happens gradually over 50–100+ days. That slow timeline lets scientists watch the rejuvenation process unfold and study what speeds it up or slows it down. The cells also behaved more like young cells. The team (led by Oliver Brüstle) published the work in Aging Cell. It’s a lab model, not a treatment for people, but it offers a powerful window into how aging works at the cellular level — especially relevant for age-related brain diseases like Alzheimer’s.
