IOC implemented the new framework to remove blanket conditions in the guidelines that would exclude trans and intersex athletes based on their sex assigned at birth or hormones...but as not binding guidelines — each sport has a different regulating body and each country...
World Athletics scientists admitted earlier this year that a study they published was only "exploratory." But this week, they claimed they "mature regulations" that don't need to be updated to stay in line with the Olympics. bit.ly/2ZcOt9l
