Yesterday, Dylan Darling hit the biggest shot of his career, lifting St. John’s past Kansas and into the Sweet 16.
From Washington State to Idaho State to New York, Darling’s coast-to-coast journey turned an “undersized” guard into St. John’s largest hero.

Back in 2024, I had the chance to meet Natalie Nakase, newly announced head coach of the Valkyries, during my internship with @SLAMonline. She was down to earth and, most importantly, grateful for the opportunity.
Ahead of tonight’s Game 7 against the Dream, both teams have compelling storylines. But regardless of the outcome, Nakase’s success with the Valkyries in just two seasons deserves to be celebrated.

The last time the Rams won the Super Bowl, they did it at home in SoFi Stadium with future HOF Aaron Donald on the roster.

Grateful to have been able to attend my first @NABJ Convention! Houston you’re on the clock…
The Big 3 that led St. John’s to the Sweet 16 for the first time in decades have all been drafted.
Dillon Mitchell to the Celtics and Bryce Hopkins to the Nuggets.
I’ll personally miss covering this trio for my alma mater but I know they’ll do great things in the league.
Zuby Ejiofor is headed to Atlanta.
The Hawks select the St. John’s star with the No. 23 pick, making him the first Red Storm player drafted since 2015. From transferring in, to bringing St. John’s back to national relevance — Zuby leaves Queens a legend.
