Darajani Gogo have rejected a KSh 7 million sponsorship offer from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to accept relegation to the FKF Division One League.
The federation had reached out to the club, urging them to accept demotion to the third tier to pave the way for the promotion of four teams to the National Super League (NSL).
However, Darajani Gogo turned down the proposal and moved to court to challenge their relegation. The club subsequently secured a court order reinstating them to the NSL, with the court halting the start of the new season until the case is heard and determined.
The case is scheduled for mention on November 17 at the Machakos High Court.
