I am Catholic. And I'll be voting Republican next week. Why? Because I actually believe what the Church teaches. I oppose abortion. I oppose gender-change on children. I support the family. I support American workers. I support school choice. Only Republicans support this now.

🚨This is a MUST READ: it’s a post from a French Citizen: Brivael Le Pogam, this is the best description of what has occurred in France I have seen, read his words: Le Pogam: “To every American, and to everyone watching France burn from abroad: Do not blame the French people for this. We never asked for it. We never voted for it. And the one time we were clearly asked, we said no. Here are the numbers your media won't show you. 70% of the French say there are too many immigrants in France today. 79% want a tougher immigration policy. 77% disapprove of the government's record on immigration. 83% want foreign criminals and long-term unemployed foreigners sent home. And no, it's not just the old. 69% of French 18 to 24 year olds support suspending legal immigration for three years. This is not a fringe. This is the French people. In 2005, we were asked if we wanted the European Constitution. 55% voted no. Three years later, our politicians passed the same text under another name, through parliament, without ever asking us again. That is modern France in one sentence. The people say no. The elites do it anyway. So who is responsible? The politicians who lied to us. A class of leaders formed in the same schools, the same forums, the same networks, loyal to each other before they are loyal to their nations. In 2017, at Harvard, Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, bragged about his Young Global Leaders program in four words: "We penetrate the cabinets." He added that it was true in France. Emmanuel Macron was one of his Young Global Leaders. It's the same project in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and in Paris with Macron. Borders treated as an obstacle. Nations treated as relics. The people treated as a problem to be managed. What you are watching in France is not the French people failing. It is the end of the globalist project, an abject, quasi-communist dream of a world run by unelected planners. It is collapsing everywhere in Europe at once, and the West has to cut this cancer out before it takes the rest of the body with it. The peoples of Europe don't want this. They never did. So when you see our town halls burning, don't say "the French chose this." The French never chose this. They were forced into it. If you're French and you agree, repost this so the world hears it from us. If you're American, look at us carefully. Then choose differently on November 3rd.” Hope that wakes you up… Vote RED 🇺🇸

It's simple, and you should have seen this coming: - No compromise, no budget, 2-year government shutdown. - Impeachments for everyone in Trump's cabinet for any stupid reason. Because the Senate couldn't pass the SAVE Act, and you couldn't persuade people that $4 gas is a small price for not getting nuked. Pathetic.

I keep hearing: "Pakistan has nukes." "India has nukes." "North Korea has nukes." "Israel has nukes." "So why does America care if Iran gets them?" Then comes: "It's about the oil." "Israel wants regional hegemony." "Israel keeps dragging America into Middle Eastern wars." There's one BIG historical problem with that argument: American and European strategic interests in the Middle East existed Before the state of Israel gained independence in 1948. Britain and Russia were competing for influence in Persia in the 1800s. Britain secured Persian oil rights in 1901. Oil was discovered there in 1908. American companies entered Saudi oil in 1933. By 1943, Roosevelt was calling Saudi oil strategically important to America. In 1945 - THREE YEARS BEFORE the state of Israel gained independence - FDR personally met King Ibn Saud. Why? - Oil. - Trade. - Shipping routes. - Strategic geography. - Great-power competition. - Regional stability. Israel didn't create America's interests in the Middle East. Israel's security concerns aligns with America's interests in the region. And Iran getting nuclear weapons doesn't suddenly become irrelevant because other countries already possess them. The real question is what a nuclear weapon does to the behavior and calculations of THIS particular regime, its adversaries and its proxy network - and whether Saudi Arabia and others then decide they need their own deterrent. That's how one nuclear problem potentially becomes a REGIONAL proliferation problem. You can oppose endless wars AND understand that the Middle East mattered to great powers long before 1948. Both things can be true. 2028 comes around. Iran has nuclear weapons. Now look at the IRGC's track record and imagine what happens when they believe they have a NUCLEAR UMBRELLA protecting their activities across the Middle East. More aggressive proxies. More pressure on shipping and energy infrastructure. Greater escalation risk. And potentially a nuclear arms race as Saudi Arabia and others reconsider their own deterrence. And the SAME people screaming today about the Iran conflict and gas prices would turn around and say: "President Trump was COWARDLY. Why didn't he stop Iran when he had the chance?" That's the calculation people are ignoring. The cost of confronting Iran today vs. the potential cost of confronting a NUCLEAR-ARMED IRAN tomorrow.

Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act in March 2010, guaranteeing you cheaper insurance, more competition, and the ability to keep your doctor. Premiums for individual plans more than doubled between 2013 and 2017. Deductibles climbed so high that millions of technically "insured" Americans still skipped medical care because the out-of-pocket costs were prohibitive. The government mandated what your insurance must cover, forced healthy young people to subsidize older high-risk pools, and then expressed genuine surprise when prices spiked. Prices always tell the truth. The 2009 stimulus, officially $831 billion, operated on the Keynesian assumption that government spending creates wealth. Government spending transfers wealth, first taxing or borrowing it from the productive sector, then routing it through political channels where efficiency is nobody's personal concern. The "shovel-ready jobs" Obama later joked about produced no measurable acceleration in recovery. The recession that followed 2008 should have cleared in 18 months, as previous sharp downturns historically did when left alone. The Obama recovery took a decade and delivered the weakest GDP growth of any post-war expansion on record. Dodd-Frank, signed in 2010, weighs 2,300 pages. Community banks spent compliance budgets they never had, and roughly 1,900 small banks vanished between 2010 and 2016. The big institutions that actually caused the 2008 crisis absorbed the regulatory cost with ease and used the new complexity as a competitive moat. Regulations written by large players consistently protect large players. The middle-class small-business owners who needed credit found fewer lenders willing to offer it. Obama also expanded drone warfare to seven countries, assassinated American citizens without trial, and extended the surveillance state through a reauthorized PATRIOT Act, which undermines any libertarian's case that the Democratic Party is less hostile to civil liberties than its competition. Then there was Cash for Clunkers, which destroyed 690,000 working cars in 2009 by crushing them with sodium silicate. Mechanics lost parts inventory. Buyers on a budget lost affordable transportation. Prices for used cars spiked. You paid more so dealers could move new inventory. A generation of voters watched the government spend $5 trillion across two terms, nationalize health insurance markets, regulate finance into oligopoly, and print money through three rounds of quantitative easing that inflated asset prices and rewarded those who already owned property. You paid higher premiums, earned lower real wages, and watched your savings earn nothing in a deliberately suppressed interest-rate environment. The bill always arrives later. You see the ribbon cutting and the document signing, but you feel the damage to your pocket only years later.

No, the twice-yearly switch is outdated. Energy savings are minimal and the transitions raise accident and health risks. Permanent standard time makes more sense. It keeps morning light aligned with our circadian clocks, which sleep scientists and groups like the AASM favor for better health and safety. Permanent daylight time means darker winter mornings, which past experiments showed people dislike. From scratch, set clocks so solar noon is near 12:00 across zones and lock it year-round. No more flipping.

Keyword searches of accounts for major Colorado Democrats including Polis, Griswold, Bennet, Hickenlooper, Pettersen and others found no tweets about American citizens killed by illegal aliens or migrants. Polis has posted general zero-tolerance statements for violent crimes by any status and support for deporting dangerous criminals.

Man gas is really expensive, I better vote for the party that flooded our country with tens of millions of illegals, funded the creation of COVID-19 that killed tens of millions, turned the intel agencies on private citizens, mutilated & indoctrinated our children at scale, stole an election, illegally spied on the opposition party/candidate, sabotaged an administration, framed a duly elected president, ignited a color revolution, bankrolled Hamas protests on college campuses and universities, censored Americans, jailed supporters, staged a fedsurrection, locked hands with islamists, and installed a non compos mentis dementia patient as leader of the free world.

It is impossible to project a globe onto a sheet of paper without compromise. Distances, areas, directions and angles cannot all be preserved at once. Something must be sacrificed when three dimensions are forced into two. Hence, there is nothing improper about preferring one map projection over another. But the quarrel over the Mercator projection soon becomes identity politics. And so it inherits every vice of that style of argument: it is anachronistic, reductionist, and charged with unspoken insinuations about colonial guilt and the inherited sin of white people. The Mercator projection of 1569 was a stroke of genius for the purpose it was meant to serve. Mercator’s map was a navigational instrument. Its decisive property was that it rendered directions and angles truly: a line of constant compass bearing appears as a straight line. To secure that property, a faithful representation of area had to be given up. But as already said: one cannot have everything when a sphere must be drawn as a plane. One has to choose. It is therefore almost intolerable to hear the insinuation that Mercator was some kind of racist, intent on striking Africans with an inflated Greenland. We should honour Gerardus Mercator for what he was: one of the great cartographers in the history of the craft. The author of a projection whose charts, for centuries, helped generations of seafarers across the open ocean - long before longitude could be determined with any reliability at sea.

COLORADO’S BALLOT IS FINAL People keep asking how I am voting on the statewide ballot measures. Here it is, plain and simple. ✅ AMENDMENT 81: YES If someone is charged with a violent crime and police cannot determine whether they are legally in this country, federal immigration authorities should be notified. ✅ AMENDMENT 82: YES You should have the right to use natural gas to heat your home, cook your food, or run your business. Government should not take that choice away. ✅ AMENDMENT 83: YES, WITH RESERVATIONS This puts the right to hunt and fish in the Colorado Constitution. It also says hunting and fishing are a preferred way to manage wildlife. I do not like all the power it still leaves with the state, but protecting hunting in our Constitution is better than leaving it completely exposed. ✅ AMENDMENT 84: YES Mail ballots should require voter identification. If information is missing or wrong, the voter will have a chance to fix it. ✅ AMENDMENT 85: YES Ballot questions should be written in plain English. Voters should not need a lawyer to understand what they are voting on. ✅ AMENDMENT 86: YES Politicians should not be able to redraw congressional districts in the middle of the decade just to help their own party. ❌ AMENDMENT 87: NO This ends Colorado’s flat income tax, creates tax rates as high as 8.4 percent, and increases state taxes by an estimated $2.7 billion every year. Government already takes and spends enough. ❌ PROPOSITION NN: NO They say it does not raise taxes. What it really does is let the state keep billions of dollars that could otherwise be returned to taxpayers through TABOR. The education promises focus on ten years, but the higher government spending limit is permanent. ✅ PROPOSITION 132: YES Fentanyl is killing people and destroying families. Dealers need stronger punishment, and people addicted to fentanyl need real treatment. ✅ PROPOSITION 133: YES Anyone who knowingly buys or sells sexual activity involving a child deserves life in prison. ✅ PROPOSITION 134: YES Girls deserve fair sports. Female sports should be based on biological sex. ✅ PROPOSITION 135: YES Children cannot understand or consent to permanent, life changing surgery. Adults can make their own decisions. Children need protection. ✅ PROPOSITION 136: YES This caps Colorado’s income tax rate at 4.4 percent. Government can lower the tax rate, but it cannot raise it above 4.4 percent. ❌ PROPOSITION 137: NO This lets the state keep about $175 million a year that could otherwise be returned through TABOR. It locks that money into government controlled conservation programs. In Colorado, “conservation” too often becomes restrictions, closed roads, and locked gates. There it is. 11 YES votes. 3 NO votes. Read them for yourself. Make your own decision. Then vote. #SeanPond

The function of the Mercator map was to enable safe sailing and trade By stretching the poles, you can draw a line between any two points (any two sea ports) and the angle with respect to north will be constant This was called a rhumb line: it’s longer than the shortest line that travels a globe, but you can calculate it very easy This was very useful when it was extremely hard to calculate longitude and ships often got lost. With the Mercator projection, you can just calculate your rhumb line and, even if you get blown off course, you know roughly what angle to be traveling in, so you can find your way This is long outdated technology, but it was extremely important in its day. The new “Equal-area Projection” serves no such practical purpose. It exists to soothe neurotic liberals who are upset that Africa isn’t large enough on Mercator and that this distortion is harmful to Africa Its adoption reflects an affluent society where the underlying purpose of things is forgotten and the only function left is for objects to be symbols that signal belief (liberal beliefs)
NEWS 🚨: The UN has voted 164 to 1 to adopt a new world map that shows countries at their true relative sizes, with the United States the only country voting against it Before (left) and New map (right)

Colorado is now the second-most-expensive state to live in, according to @CNBC. And it falls below the national median in areas from infrastructure to business friendliness to education. This is exactly what business leaders have been warning about: tsscolorado.com/colorado-dro…
