If the sky is truly falling…
Why are we still
the world’s biggest coal peddlers?
400 million tonnes
shipped out every year.
Burned abroad
into roughly one billion
tonnes of CO₂.
More than triple
what we emit at home.
But here’s the sleight of hand
they conveniently bury -
Scope 3 emissions.
The ones that happen
when our exported coal
is burned overseas.
Direct burns here
- Counted.
Power we buy from the grid?
- Counted.
But the massive emissions
from the black gold we sell?
Conveniently ignored.
Not in our net-zero targets.
Not in our Paris promises.
The buyer claims it.
We claim the cash.
$60–120 billion a year
flowing in.
While farmers stand
on cracked earth,
chained to transmission towers
feeding distant city glow.
Holding faded photos
of the pioneers
who carved this nation from dirt…
…watching our inheritance
sold raw,
only to buy back energy
insecurity at markup prices.
If this is an absolute emergency -
Stop the exports.
Full embargo.
Tomorrow.
No more excuses
of 'someone else will sell it.'
Lead with crisis conviction.
Not with calculated profit.
Rural Australia is shackled
for the cause.
Urban Australia signalled
to sleep easy.
Elites pocket the dividends
either way.
Let's save the planet.
Instead of this selective sacrifice.
Wrapped in green.
Or is it time to shatter the chains.
Keep the resources here.
Forge the reactors on our soil.
Thorium.
Uranium.
Sovereignty.
Australian fuel
powering Australian lives.
No more selling the farm…
…to feed a farce.
The farmer still remembers.
Do we?

What happens to Australia when new legislation dictates biology and sex in ways that affect sports, schools, kid’s medical care and prisons.
When ‘trust the science’ not so long ago was their favorite tagline, and now it seems, suddenly it no longer applies because we’re not allowed to speak, notice or name what our eyes and basic common sense tell us?
‘Who Decides?’ is a new doco that looks at what happens when transgender women enter female-only spaces, and how that plays out in sport, education, healthcare and policy.
It features people who’ve been affected, along with experts and advocates on different sides, and asks who actually gets to decide the rules.
If you’ve been wondering why basic questions about fairness and safety keep getting shut down, this is the film that puts those stories in one place.
This is one of the most controversial subjects for this era and generation.
The Premier is on 5th November.

I really like this guy!
Viktor Wong - a Hong Kong independence activist who sought refuge in Australia, and fell in love with the place.
🟠🟠 Australia is united behind One Nation!
Using the incident against Helen Haines as the reason to tighten rules on ordinary people speaking to each other on social media would be a straightforward move to limit dissent under the guise of safety.
The clip already points that way. Threats get blamed on political anger and social media algorithms.
Littleproud says social media companies could fix it overnight by changing the algorithms.
How exactly does that work?
Changing the algorithms does not remove the public’s reaction.
It reduces how far and how fast people can see and share what others are saying about it.
The practical effect is less open conversation between ordinary people on the topics that produce the perceived anger.
Being angry is not a crime.
It’s a human reaction to poor governance that directly affects people’s lives.
Acting on the anger is different and won’t change because of an algorithm.
That is the distinction.
There is no evidence that people’s reactions on social media caused the incident in question.
Yet reducing that conversation remains the preferred response.
The public has never been more able to talk to each other directly.
That connectivity seems to be the real problem for them.
Politically cashing in on the Helen Haines incident would not be a surprise.
We’ve seen it before.
Under-16 social media ban
The government pointed to a consultation and public submissions as justification. It was not a properly designed representative survey. The process was open and shaped by organised responses, which is why it was described as stacked. Some platforms were treated as the main culprit while others, including Snapchat, received less attention despite being among the higher-risk apps for under-16s. Broader factors received less scrutiny. The move also expanded the eSafety Commissioner’s role.
COVID period
Lockdowns, mandates and emergency powers were justified by health data. Once the acute phase passed, some of those expanded powers stayed or were quietly repurposed.
The selective focus on ‘misinformation’
continued while official messaging and policy failures received less scrutiny.
Port Arthur
Immediate and lasting gun control changes.
The tragedy is still being questioned by the public, even for law-abiding citizens who were treated as if they were the perpetrator.
It was also the moment successive governments locked in a national framework that has been defended ever since as not negotiable.
No equivalent focus on government messaging,
broken promises, or the conditions that produced
the public reaction.
The scrutiny lands on public speech and the platforms.
The people in charge of the policies and the official narrative stay outside that frame.
That is the double standard.
We all know how they love a double standard.
How many times do we reckon Albo blames social media tomorrow?

I shared a post recently about well known Masons in Australia — and it included female names. Some people struggled with that. So let me explain why the women were on the list.
Short answer: there's an entire parallel Masonic Order for women. It's called the Order of the Eastern Star. Same oaths. Same secrecy. Same grips, signs and passwords. Same five-pointed star over the same altar.
If the men are Masons, so are the women.
And that's where it gets interesting — because the Eastern Star has spent 175 years telling everyone it's just a lovely charitable club for the wives and daughters of Masons.
It isn't.
It's ~500,000 members, ~10,000 chapters, 18 countries. A women-led order bolted to male Freemasonry — women hold 16 of the 18 offices — with a male "Worthy Patron" sitting beside the chair to "advise," and to take the gavel when the ritual gets serious.
Sounds sweet. Now let's look under it. No PR filter. The oaths, the accusations, the money, the fights — and the bits they leave out of the brochure. 🧵

AUSTRALIA IS WORTH FIGHTING FOR
In a recent podcast, the Bold and the Bearded, I spoke about the importance of not losing hope in Australia.
We live in a great country with enormous opportunity and have so much to fight for.
That's why I along the members of People First continue to fight to build a machine that will defeat the machine that is destroying our great country.
If you love your country but hate your government then don't give up on your country. Instead work to fix the government.
The best way to do that is by signing up to Peoplefirstparty.au today.
We have the solutions for today and the vision for tomorrow that will help every Australian enjoy everything our country has to offer.

No doubt she’s made her position on street violence in the past.
Just not in this recording, which would logically have been the place for it.
This doesn’t make her a leader by any measure we should expect.
It’s a human reaction at best - good on her for that, even with the personal reminder of her own history.
Which is telling.
Personally I don’t cheer for politicians based on emotional rhetoric,
and neither should Australians.
Pick the best, not the one who howls loudest about what they know we want to hear. If someone can’t articulate policy without the rhetoric, they won’t do us any favours - they’ll just stall with -
‘I’ll take that on notice’
which we all know it their default, until someone with actual capacity feeds them the answer they should already know.
Rhetoric isn’t a solution. If winning elections mattered more than accountability and transparency - which are conspicuously absent from Pauline’s record - we’d be in better shape than we are.
Nice of her to shout out about the violence against a politician.
No mention of the violence Australians cope with day in, day out. If this is really for Australians, where’s the outrage?
Or are politicians worth more than the people they represent?
Don’t sit on your hands.
Freedom never shows up without a slave.
This is what silence builds.
It ain’t freedom.
If a doctor treats biological sex as optional, irrelevant, or a ‘dog whistle,’ patients have reason to doubt whether the same outlook will be applied to other facts that affect diagnosis and outcomes.
Medicine is built on measurable physical differences - including biological facts.
A patient’s biological sex affects disease risk, symptom patterns, drug response, surgical anatomy, screening intervals, and recovery expectations.
A patient who has just been told their request for a female doctor is something to be overridden has to wonder whether the same person will downplay or reframe other biological realities when it suits an ideological preference.
That gap between what the patient expects (evidence and physical facts) and what the doctor has already signalled (belief first) is what reduces confidence, regardless of the original request.
After the drop in public confidence through the COVID years, continuing to treat biological sex as optional only widens the gap the profession is trying to close.
When medical associations, regulators, and hospitals align on treating sex as secondary or socially constructed, patients are left doubting whether care is still driven by physical reality and the ‘do no harm’ oath.
