Usually when my clients have gone with "build" over "buy" they end up regretting it. In terms of integration, Nivia, I see your point, cuz OOTB integration often sucks, but it's easier to build some glue code between two existing apps that to build a whole new app (usually).

There were many such features in the consumer electronics world.
Must have, marketing said so -- but user's never used it.
HOWEVER, the user may also never have purchased the product without that item in the yes/no feature list.
So, yes, that feature was absolutely necessary.
