Janice here. I can't speak for the rest of my team, but I'm drawn to stories that are more psychologically perturbing than outright horror. I love monsters, but I like learning about their psyche. I like to feel unsettled & unsure (not confused) after reading a dark tale.

I've learned a lot working with dog. For instance, she loves using the ten key, even though I often don't understand how it adds to the narrative structure.
