Getting gigs in this space has been tough lately, ngl.
If you don't have connections with builders or mutuals who can put you on to opportunities, you might spend a lot of time wondering how others keep landing jobs.
The reality is, referrals carry a lot of weight in this space. Sometimes, personal grind alone isn't enough.
But here's another thing: we're entering meme season. New projects will keep popping up, narratives will change, and there'll be opportunities to position yourself around the right ones. Just don't let the excitement make you ignore the risks.
For now, keep putting yourself out there.
Build relationships, get the right attention, stay consistent, and learn to handle being ignored or overlooked.
**The goal is simple: don't disappear just because things are slow.**
If you want to make this year count, there's still time. Get busy. 🫡
