To give you a sense of the Convoy trailer leasing cost.
They had 4k trailers under lease.
I don’t know Convoy’s cost per day, but a trailer on the Repowr marketplace goes for $20-25/day.
At that price, this would suggest that Convoy had $80-100k per day of expensive assets to deal with.
When the market was good, those trailers could generate $300/day in margin.
But when the market collapsed, demand dried up and that became an anchor around the company’s ability to respond to changing dynamics.
