Clyde Barrow’s sawed-off #Browning Auto-5 16-ga. “Whippet” shotgun with shortened stock will be offered by @RIAuction between August 21 and 23, 2026, in Bedford, #Texas with a preview on Aug. 20. The Public Enemy’s shotgun was recovered from the scene of the Ambush of Bonnie & Clyde in May 1934 and is well documented. What final bid will it bring when the auctioneer’s gavel falls?

An icon on of the 1980s, H&K's G11 prototype was meant to be the future of shoulder arms. It was capable of firing it's caseless, 4.73mm ammunition at 460rpm in full auto or a 3-round burst of 2100rpm. Magazines up to 50 rounds capacity were fed from the front, over the barrel, with the bullets pointed downwards. One fuction of the complex mechanism was, of course, to redirect these out the front. There is no ejection cycle.
