SRO Spotlight: Meet Officer Madden!
Officer Madden is assigned to Riverside Intermediate and Riverside Junior High. He has eight years of law enforcement experience and has served with our School Resource Unit for the past three years.
Get to know your SRO!
We asked Officer Madden: “Who was your favorite teacher and why?”
His answer: “My favorite teacher when I went through Fishers has to be Mr. Schooley. I was lucky enough to have him not only as a teacher, but also as a football coach! Whether we were in the classroom or on the field, Mr. Schooley brought an enthusiasm that was impossible not to catch. He made learning and football fun and always seemed to have enough energy for everyone around him.”
Our SROs work each day to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families while helping keep our schools safe.
If you see Officer Madden at school, be sure to say hi!

In honor of National Disability Awareness Month, Will & Marlee wrote a song about what it is like to live with a hidden or visible disability. We are so proud of them & what they've created. This song is amazing, but not as awesome as them! @HSESchools

For generations of HSE students, Camp Tecumseh has been a rite of passage. Since 1979, our 7th graders have spent two nights immersed in outdoor learning—guided by caring high school counselors and challenged by more than 20 hands-on activities across English, math, social studies, and science. From scaling the climbing wall to hitting the archery range, these memories will last far beyond camp. 🌲🏹
