"It looked like a missile going down."
Gov. Ron DeSantis uses a striking comparison as he addresses reporters about the catastrophic private jet crash just miles from Mar-a-Lago.
The governor's remarks come as investigators examine what caused the aircraft, carrying nine people, to plunge into the ground in South Florida.

I will mention AD&D and many will automatically assume I mean 1st edition
AD&D isn’t just 1e. It also includes 2e
2e was where Thac0 was officially introduced
For those who know, there was a generation of us that used 1e and 2e books simultaneously
We drew from both

21 Savage took it back to the early 2000s for his birthday party by dressing as Snoop Dogg’s character from Baby Boy 😭🔥
Via: @buwoppppp
The celebration had a ’90s/2000s R&B theme, and he pulled his costume inspiration straight from a movie of that era.
Released in 2001, Baby Boy was written and directed by John Singleton and starred Tyrese Gibson as Jody alongside Taraji P. Henson as Yvette. Snoop played Rodney, Yvette’s ex-boyfriend, whose arrival creates tension in Jody’s already complicated life. The cast also included Ving Rhames and Omar Gooding.
The film follows Jody as he struggles with relationships, responsibility and growing up in South Central Los Angeles. It also marked Tyrese’s feature-film debut, making it a fitting reference for a party celebrating the music and culture of that period.
With his birthday coming up on October 22, 21 is getting the celebrations started early. Born in 1992, he turns 34 this year and chose to bring a little Snoop Dogg nostalgia into the occasion. 🎂
A ’90s/2000s R&B party gives you plenty of options for a throwback look, but going as Rodney is a specific reference 😂👏 How’d he do with the costume?

Steak ’n Shake is taking the beef tallow revolution from fast food to the freezer aisle.
You can now buy its Beef Tallow Fries and Tots in grocery stores.
The company helped push healthier ingredients into the fast food conversation, and now it is bringing that pressure to retail.
When consumers put their money behind better options, the rest of the market has to pay attention.

Who holds the record for the most movies made as an actor in America?
Eric Roberts.
Nicknamed “The Hardest-Working Man in Hollywood”, Julia's big brother might not be as famous as his baby sister, but he is far more prolific — he has amassed 455 film and 191 television credits since 1978, making him the single most prolific screen actor of all time.
Note: (I only counted actual screen actors here, not voice actors, of which there may be a few more prolific than Roberts.)

It’s the 38th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. 2, which inspired me to make a Mario 2 dress! 🍄❤️
Released in North America in October 1988, Super Mario Bros. 2 has a fascinating history! The game was adapted from the 1987 Famicom Disk System title Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, with Mario, Luigi, Princess Toadstool, and Toad replacing its four playable characters. Japan had already received a different Super Mario Bros. 2 in 1986, but its punishing difficulty made it a less appealing choice for American audiences. That version eventually reached North America as Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels in the 1993 SNES compilation Super Mario All-Stars.
The very first issue of Nintendo Power, released in July 1988, featured Mario and Wart as clay figures on its iconic cover, along with a massive 20-page feature introducing the upcoming game! Readers learned about the four playable characters and their unique abilities, techniques like the Power Squat Jump, and the many enemies and items they’d encounter. The magazine also revealed hidden items, secret rooms, shortcuts, and strategies for defeating bosses like Birdo and Tryclyde. What an incredible introduction for Nintendo Power!
I absolutely loved playing SMB2 as a kid, often with neighborhood friends, and I almost always chose Princess Toadstool (Peach)! Her ability to float made her my favorite, and I loved finally getting to play as the princess instead of rescuing her. ❤️
I was also a huge fan of the 1989 Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, and seeing so many familiar SMB2 characters, enemies, and settings brought to life in the cartoon was amazing! Princess Toadstool was my favorite character on the show, too.
Super Mario Bros. 2 was such a memorable departure from the original, with its dreamlike world, vegetable-throwing, and four distinct playable characters. Even though it began as another game entirely, it left a lasting mark on the Mario franchise!
Happy 38th anniversary to this wonderfully weird NES classic! I loved this game so much as a kid that 38 years later, I've apparently decided to become the box art. 🤭🍄❤
