SQUARE ENIX is reportedly developing a brand-new 'FINAL FANTASY VII' spinoff series centered on SEPHIROTH, exploring the legendary SOLDIER's origins before his tragic descent into madness.
The story would reportedly track Sephiroth's rise to fame during the Wutai War alongside Genesis and Angeal, taking fans back into the world of Midgar for a dark psychological saga.
Versus XIII must have broken my brain cause I see tweets of people angry that TESVI is only coming out in 2029 and I’m like “so soon?”
I miss the cinematic mood that games like FF10, 13, 7 Remake had. Felt that worlds were much larger and alive than what was shown on screen.
That feeling was a bit lost in Rebirth / FF16 so I really want to see what he would do with a brand new modern title
Yoshinori Kitase says that his favorite Final Fantasy title is FF7 as he has been working on this title for almost 30 years now from the original game to the Remake series.
He also says that it’s definitely possible that Square Enix may think of remaking other Final Fantasy games, but at the moment he doesn’t see himself being involved. He thinks the teams would prefer to invest in new titles and new games instead.
However internally and among fans, many want an FF6 Remake, but well who knows? lol
Square Enix is also looking to go back into making films, so a Final Fantasy inspired TV series would be cool too.
Hammerfell confirmed as the region for Elder Scrolls VI is so dope, it’s a really varied region with tons of interesting locales and lore. They don’t have to come up with anything new and it’s already peak

Yeah this is too good to fake. There’s elements from 1/2 era in the ui that’s adapted for a new street art style, Yuya “idgaf” Narumi, and all the UE debug code in the top left that pops in and out. The video is in the style of a Japanese internal presentation like the P3R leak

You gotta try out Resonance of Fate with this new remaster. It's Clockpunk gun-fu styled like a cowboy bebop episodic where a ragtag group do oddjobs with the existential crisis of the world coming to an end.
One of my fav JRPGs ever. One of the best english dub for a JRPG too
