Cool! @Stanford will once again be offering its free, online Code In Place class, beginning April 22nd. The popular introduction-to-coding course was first introduced in 2020; registration this year will remain open through April 12.

Based on research and a wide-ranging review of national policies, @UMichAdmissions is formally adopting a test-optional policy for the forseeable future. Their goal is "to ensure access and fairness to a diverse range of U-M applicants.”

Yale, Dartmouth, and MIT are going back to requiring ACT or SAT scores from applicants. They say it's because the scores help them find promising, disadvantaged students.
