On behalf of @RSF_inter I spoke to @EP_Justice’s DRFMG on the Maltese government’s failure to effectively implement the recommendations of the public inquiry on Daphne Caruana Galizia’s murder. As of today, Malta’s press freedom climate remains poor and journalists are at risk.
We're participating in today's meeting of the European Parliament's #Democracy, #RuleOfLaw & #FundamentalRights Monitoring Group (DRFMG) chaired by @Sophie_Wilmes. Malta's authorities declined the DRFMG's invitation to participate.
