Honestly they deserved to lose for this alone
I dunno man, I was a single-issue voter this year for the issue of "not wanting to see dead Palestinians on my phone every day." Neither candidate was going to fix that problem, so at least I have the satisfaction that one of them gets to be really fucking humiliated.

As I was leaving my polling place parking lot, a non-native English speaker asked if I could help him pull up his bank statement on his phone, as h'd just moved and needed to prove his residence. I helped him and felt much better about doing so than I did actually voting.
Endlessly annoying to me that the act of voting is portrayed as an unambiguous civic good. Some of you should stay home! I have a relative who thinks the ancient Egyptians used the Pyramids to create wi-fi, and his vote counts the same as mine.

Joker 2 actively antagonizing its fanbase and utterly flopping at the box office are two funny things, which is two more funny things than what happens in Joker 1 and an equal number of funny things to what happens in Joker 2 ("I hope you get cancer" and "PUDDLES?").

It's not a great movie but I gotta hand it to him, making a movie about how fans of Joker (2019) are annoying was funnier than anything in Joker (2019).
