I’m free, but the Israeli police took my phone, and I still can’t access my other socials.
So for now follow me here.
The West Bank is about to be even more on fire than it already was.

Tedious little racist to do whingefest with another bunch of tedious little racists to explain why they have no scholarly achievements of their own.

Forget the euphoria of Britain's change of policy on settlements. Palestinians, totally abandoned by the international community, are being ethnically cleansed in occupied east Jerusalem. I report for Middle East Eye on house demolitions in Al Bustan:

The goal of settler terrorism is to drive Palestinians from their homes. To achieve this, settlers burn, beat, destroy, and threaten. The army accomplishes the same goal far more efficiently: it simply forces people out.

The “private security team” the Reform council hired under the guise of keeping women safe, have assaulted two teen girls by HANDCUFFING them despite having zero lawful right to do so.
So the only notable thing that Operation Vanguard has done is *checks notes* assault girls.

Bell is getting extreme levels of abuse this morning, simply for raising concern about this event, and flagging that no lessons have been learned about the treatment of Professor Jason Arday.
Solidarity to Bell, solidarity to Jason’s family, and solidarity to every Black academic and student forced to endure this culture of racism - both online and in our institutions.

We spent a week in the Occupied West Bank:
We saw bloody settler attacks, Palestinian homes demolished & tense interactions with Israeli soldiers
Here's a short clip ⬇️

B’Tselem urgently calls on governments and international institutions to act now, using all means available under international law, to prevent the forcible displacement of Palestinian civilians, collective punishment and extensive unlawful destruction in Hebron. Israeli leaders are openly declaring their intentions, and actions on the ground have already begun.
Following the shooting near Hebron on 23 October, in which two Israeli soldiers were killed, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz openly announced plans to forcibly displace Palestinian residents and carry out extensive destruction in the area.
In a statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared: “We will apply in the cities the successful offensive model we implemented in the refugee camps.”
That same model has already displaced more than 33,000 Palestinians in the northern West Bank. Now, Israeli leaders are threatening to bring the same mass displacement and destruction to Hebron.
Implementation has already begun. Israeli forces imposed a cordon on Hebron and Halhul, while the Civil Administration began demolishing Palestinian structures in the neighborhood of Farsh al-Hawa. At the same time, Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the establishment of four new settlement farming outposts in the South Hebron Hills.
Israeli leaders are openly announcing plans for collective punishment and acts that could constitute war crimes. These plans echo Israel’s devastating operations as part of the genocide in Gaza and mark a further escalation of its ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing as part of the Elimination Project in the West Bank: the systematic dismantling of Palestinian collective life while expanding settlements and entrenching permanent Israeli control.
The world cannot stand by as Israel continues its assault on Palestinians, waiting for yet more neighborhoods to be emptied and erased before intervening, despite what we have already witnessed in Gaza and the northern West Bank. Governments and international bodies must act now to prevent these crimes and protect Palestinian civilians.
The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day.
All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are.
