GMMG-HD10/MajesTEC-5 represents an important and likely a watershed moment in myeloma induction and consolidation therapy! Amazing early and deep responses (100% MRD neg rates!!) 👏👏 @RascheLeo @RaabMarc et al. AntiCD38-based quadruplets set the bar pretty high for early PFS rates PFS and now we have a worthy challenger! Whether this eventually displaces autologous transplant or not, one thing is for sure—BCMA bispecifics in induction will certainly make all of us think like transplanters when it comes to our infectious disease game (>35% Gr3 infections, 6% CMV reactivation). Biggest question that will need answering is whether everyone need a BCMA TCE upfront and for how long? nature.com/articles/s41591-0…

Fascinating - albeit a little terrifying - @LeukemiaJnl work by 🇩🇪 How does GPRC5D loss affect surviving myeloma #MMsm clones? Here, remaining cells appear to be more aggressive. Will be important to validate / rebut as talquetamab moves into earlier lines... hopefully soon!
