@Rabat_Process 20th anniversary 🎉 Over the past two decades, the Rabat Process has fostered relationships between African and European partners, promoted the sharing of experience, and supported coordinated approaches to migration and development.
🤝 The adoption of the Rabat Declaration on 11 July 2006 laid the foundations for the Rabat Process, bringing together countries of origin, transit, and destination along migration routes connecting Central, West and North Africa with Europe.

Switzerland 🇨🇭and The Gambia🇬🇲, together with the @ICRC , hosted the second in-person meeting of the Network of National Focal Points for Missing Migrants within the @Rabat_Process . A vital platform for coordinated action to prevent and resolve cases of missing migrants.
Over 50 participants gathered in Geneva for the 2nd in-person meeting of the Network of National Focal Points for #MissingMigrants. Co-chaired by Switerland & The Gambia, exchanges focused on coordinated, cross-border action, grounded in solidarity, with families at the centre.
