🚨🚨🚨Republican Defection Will Flip the House and Senate on November 3
Partisan defection will combine with strong midterm effect to help drive large seat gains for Democrats in both chambers.
I hate all of these things too, but want to be clear to people:
Without control of both Congress and the presidency AT LEAST (you likely also need a diff SCOTUS), Dems will be a position to exactly nothing on campaign finance after the midterms @MalloryMcMorrow
As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment"
- Donations dried up
- Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do
- Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out
Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down.
To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate.
But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms.
Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust.
And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not.
If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS.
LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.
CNN's ‘Inside Politics’ panel on Wednesday blew up when former NRSC director Jason Theilman echoed Louisiana GOP Senator John Kennedy, saying that when El-Sayed “goes to bed at night, it looks like he’s sleeping in Bin Laden’s jersey,” which was followed by brief outrage from Dana Bash and former DSCC director Guy Cecil.
At the end of the interview, Bash thanked Cecil for freaking out and telling the Republican, “you’ll apologize later,” and said, “I think it was important what you said.”

Xenophobia is so beneath us. Americans are free. 2nd, and 3rd gen. children grow up loving their country with unique insight and gratitude. Stupid racist dog whistles for religion/race/gender. We are the United States. This is how we were designed to work, it is in our DNA.

That’s not a “dead heat” that’s a rotting whale carcass on the coast you tried to blow up.
(Any real Oregonian will 💯 get what I mean and the rest of you should google exploding whale).
Well it’s either that, or constitutional collapse and perhaps, either a fascist autocracy or a second Civil War.
What a time to be alive!
I tell you this: many Republicans, and I believe Elon Musk too, are waiting for the outcome of the midterms. 🗳️🇺🇸
The outcome will make an epic difference. If this is a landslide, Democrats take the House and Senate, and the bigger the margins and the more seats they take, the more it will matter.
If Democrats win decisively, shit will hit the fan, and MAGA will officially start flipping on Trump & Co. I also believe even Elon finally will, despite pouring hundreds of millions into Republican campaigns, especially in Texas. He may have no choice.
Everyone running against Republicans has put themselves and their families through hell to do this for our country. Same with with all the purged FBI and DOJ employees. And the poor judges.
The biggest domestic terror threat America faces comes from MAGA
That’s a very good idea
SCOOP: AIPAC will no longer endorse congressional candidates or earmark donations to congressional campaigns. The group's super PAC, United Democracy Project, will continue to operate and it will urge members to donate directly to pro-Israel candidates. jewishinsider.com/2026/10/ai…

DISGUSTING! NOW IN MAINE:
Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign featured Amy Acton’s estranged mother in an attack ad.
Now a Republican super PAC backing Susan Collins is targeting Troy Jackson’s family. Jackson’s partner of nearly 40 years, Lana Pelletier, has a message for Collins:
"When Troy first talked to me about running for the U.S. Senate, we started with what it would mean for our family. We knew it wouldn’t be easy. We knew the race could get ugly. But I never imagined U.S. Sen. Susan Collins and her allies would stoop this low. As a social worker and therapist, I’ve mostly stayed out of the public eye. My work is private, and I want the people I work with to know the focus is on them — not my politics or my partner’s career.
But over the last few months, people who do not know me have increasingly tried to tell the public who I am, what my relationship has been and what kind of family Troy and I have built together.
Collins has brought our family into this campaign herself. She has ridiculed us publicly, invoked my children in debates and treated deeply personal parts of our lives as fair game for political attack. I know Troy. We’ve been together for nearly 40 years. He is my partner, the father of our children and now a grandfather to our beautiful newborn granddaughter. I also know myself. I am not the person Collins and her allies seem determined to turn me into.
I am not a helpless woman who needs politicians to tell the world what happened in my own life. And I am not a punchline or a caricature of where I come from.
I’ve spent my career helping people navigate some of the hardest moments of their lives. That work has taught me to take allegations involving violence and abuse seriously — and how much care is required when we talk about it. That is part of what makes what is happening now so upsetting.
Earlier this year, a police report from nearly four decades ago became part of this campaign.
There was a fight between Troy and another young man when Troy was 19 years old. He took accountability for that and has never hidden it. The report included statements attributed to me that I’ve already said I don’t remember making and that are not accurate. I’m now forced to say it again because Susan Collins and her allies are using my family to tell a story that simply isn’t true.
I’ve spent nearly four decades with Troy since then. I know the life we have actually lived, the family we have raised and the person Troy has been through the years as a caring partner and father.
Our children have been dragged into this campaign. Our relationship has been mocked. Our family has been talked about as though there is something shameful about who we are or where we come from. There isn’t. I’m proud of our children. I’m proud of the life Troy and I have built together. I’m proud of how Troy continues to evolve and grow as a leader and advocate.
And I deeply resent watching Collins and her allies treat our lives as something beneath them — especially when serious issues involving women are manipulated into political weapons by people who show so little care for the women involved. If Collins truly cared about my voice, she could have listened to it. Instead, they’ve decided they know my life better than I do. They do not.
This is not the first time Collins has asked women to trust her while ignoring what they were telling her.
She voted to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme, who helped overturn Roe v. Wade, and still says she does not regret it. Women warned her what was at stake. She did not listen to them either. I was not pushing Troy to run. But I understood that if people were hurting and he could help, it was bigger than any one of us.
When Troy sees somebody without much power being treated unfairly, he feels it deeply. And he has spent much of his life trying to do something about it.
There are families across Maine struggling to afford healthcare, heating oil and groceries. Their lives matter more than the ugliness of a political campaign. Those are the people Troy is running for.
I don’t expect everyone in Maine to agree with Troy. Ask him hard questions. Challenge his record. Disagree with him. But there should still be a line. Collins has been quick to demand respect and decency for herself. My family deserved the same.
I stayed quiet because I never wanted this election to be about me. Collins and her allies made a different choice. So if my name, my relationship and my family are going to be used to tell a story that isn’t true, Mainers deserve to hear from the person who actually lived that story.I know my own life. I know my family And after nearly 40 years with Troy, I know who he is, too."

🎂Happy Anniversary @SenatorCollins!
On this day THIRTY YEARS AGO, you pledged to only serve TWO terms.
In less than two weeks, we stop you from serving your SIXTH term.
If @AlinaHabba gives me a million out of her $50 million, I’ll give her access to Hammie.
I’ve become the Tiger Mom of the Democratic Party because millions of lives are on the line: and not just ours!
What we do right now will determine the future for “millions yet unborn.”
We have to get this right

Why I seriously don’t understand, is that the rest of the world can see the destruction, the rescinding of constitutional rights and the outright corruption. Democrats send strongly worded letters to a guy who needs Kindle. Strengthen you msg. Hire @RachelBitecofer
It’s happening bc we created a political culture that teaches people they have no responsibilities to maintain their rights.
In a country that is supposed to prize individuality, half of the country asserts no agency (vote) over a gov that impacts their lives in every way.

USA, United States of America. The united part is basicly over, this will end it. Donald Trump and his Administration are ending the USA and are taking half of the world down with them. How can this be happening?

lol that’s because normie democrats are already “progressive”, that’s our natural state. Online leftists have skewed and distorted politics so much that yall don’t what a true centrist is. Independent voters are centrists, “both sides” voters are centrists, not people who have voted democratic their entire lives.
