Two great opportunities here to get outside and protect water in our Sky Islands. On Nov. 22-24, we’re hosting a volunteer trip in the Rincons to survey springs: ow.ly/66yj50TEsor. Then on Dec. 15, we’re hosting a Spring Seeker day in the Catalinas: ow.ly/Nwle50TEsqG.
In your opinion, what's the best/most recent/up-to-date book/article on cultural burning and/or management of grasslands and drylands with fire in the Americas? Thanks!

Thrilled to share that I was selected to be a Fulbright scholar in Argentina! This fall I'm looking forward to teaching a cultural ecology course at @PrensaUNLPam_ok and to collaborating with Dra. Claudia Tarquini and her Institute on forest archives of the western Pampa.
Finally got to read "Disabled Ecologies" by @sunaura_taylor about networks of disability emerging from the military's appalling contamination of Tucson's aquifer. A stunning expose and meditation.
Amazing visual breakdown showing where California gets water.
