A kid who grew up on his family farm, on a dirt road in rural Ontario, with no family political connections, can become a member of the Executive Council of Ontario.
It is an honour to be asked by Premier @fordnation to serve as Associate Minister of Energy-Intensive Industries.
Thank you to Minister @samoosterhoff for his leadership on this file. I have big shoes to fill.
I’m looking forward to working closely with my friend, the Honourable @Sflecce, Minister of Energy and Mines, to build the next generation of made-in-Canada energy, attract investment, create good-paying jobs and power the most competitive economy in the G7.
I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to get to work.

Check out the progress being made along the all-new Ontario Line, where new subway tunnels are being dug under downtown Toronto for the first time in six decades.
Once complete, this 15.6 kilometre subway line will put more than 230,000 people within walking distance of transit and connect commuters from across the Greater Toronto Area.
