Fully Open Access!
An accessible discussion in addressing the question “What exactly does pupil size tell us about the brain?” is trickier to answer than it looks!! 👁️👁️
This was a fun exercise and collaboration with @DeBurdakov and @umochitju
This work nicely complements a Forum article just published @TrendsNeuro by @c_strauch on the origins of pupillometry research!

🧠🧑💻New preprint from the lab🐭🧲: "Functional-based parcellation of the mouse prefrontal cortex for network perturbation analysis". We combined fMRI, chemogenetics and machine learning techniques
to pinpoint distinct functional networks within mice PFC.

🚨New pub!🚨 Is it possible to modulate sensory information processing in a non-invasive manner by modulating ongoing oscillatory activity in the prefrontal cortex in humans? Yes, we can!
Take a look at our Open Access pub @NatureHumBehav

In additional experiments, we show that this modulation depends on the phase of low excitability fluctuations of the prefrontal cortex
For this and many other control experiments, analyses and details, take a look at our work
