June Jones & Colt Brennan leading Hawaii to a 12-0 undefeated regular season in 2007 is one of the greatest college football stories of all-time. R.I.P. legends. 💔

We mourn the passing of the legendary June Jones. June’s greatest legacy wasn’t the records, championships, or the offense. It was the people he believed in, the opportunities he gave, and the lives he forever changed.

Notre Dame has now lost two games to top-20 opponents in the past two seasons amid controversial officiating. The Irish fell 41-40 to No. 16 Texas A&M in 2025 after DL Donovan Hinish appeared to be held on the game-winning touchdown. In 2026, Notre Dame lost 28-24 to No. 8 BYU after a disputed no-call on a potential defensive pass interference penalty and questions over whether one second should have remained on the clock.

Just a terrible non call to end the game. ND’s first half miscues cost them but this was blatant.

Should this have been pass interference?

“All the Right Moves” was based on Mike Ditka’s high school, Aliquippa, in western PA (Ampipe).   Mike’s close friend and HS teammate was coach of the team in the 80s and was an advisor on the film and had a cameo as the coach of Walnut Heights. 6-2 Stack Monster!
