I'm Rahman Branch and I'm running to be the next Councilmember of Ward 8.
As a career public servant and community resource, I've worked tirelessly to support residents across socio-economic statuses, while ensuring we set our youth up for success.

This isn’t clever marketing @andpizza. It’s tone deaf and hella disrespectful.
DC-based @andpizza is promoting a new dessert named after former Mayor/Councilman Marion Barry, and their launch frequently references drugs (Barry was the center of a crack cocaine scandal in 1990)
"These knots will blow you away"
"even force the DEA to look twice"

Mayday @realDonaldTrump Mayday. Could you ask @McDonalds to just serve the same fries to us in America as they do in the UK and other countries? No more silly putty in our fries pretty please!!!!
I'm excited to announce my next chapter of service in Washington, DC. As the new Chief Executive Officer at East River Family Strengthening Collaborative, Together, we strive to create enduring change and brighter futures for all we serve.
My latest newsletter is out. I discuss my concerns with @DYRSDC and why our children cannot afford to be neglected for another 4 years.

Time to push @RahmanforDC over the finish line. Early voting has begun. #DC primary is June 4. #Ward8 can no longer get the short end of the stick. Progress comes from FORWARD movement and expansive thought. The current body-politic can't do THE WORK. VOTE BRANCH. @Ward8Dems

Overcoming decades of community poverty and regressive trends in behavior takes compassion and planning - in addition to tireless initiative. Far too many have left a stagnate legacy in Ward 8. @RahmanforDC is a beacon of light and progress. #Ward8 deserves a better legacy. #VOTE

🧵The rain didn't slow us down at all today!
We were out at Oxon Run Park this afternoon speaking with neighbors in Bellevue and Washington Highlands.
Our campaign has introduced us to so many sections and residents of the Ward. They all deserve adequate representation
Yesterday, we had a meet and greet on MLK Jr Ave, and I was elated that former students came to chat!
Their future is one of the reasons I'm vying for the Ward 8 Council seat.
