🏆 BBC Women’s Essex Cup
Unfortunately, our cup run comes to an end. The girls showed a much-improved performance in the second half, but Toby played some great football and proved difficult to break down.
Good luck for the rest of your season @tobyfcwomen
A real game of two halves today! Going into half-time 2-0 down, the girls showed incredible determination and team spirit to turn things around in the second half, scoring FOUR goals to secure a fantastic comeback! ⚽️💙🖤
🏆 Manager’s POTM – Maddie 👏🏼
Non-stop running from Maddie, whether it was putting in excellent crosses or getting into the right positions to receive them. Always in the right place at the right time! 💯 Well done, Maddie! 👏🏼
🏆 POTM – Alexis 🔥
A brilliant performance from Alexis! 💪🏼 She never stopped working at the back and showed great confidence in 1v1 situations, while also getting forward and contributing in attack. To top it off, you scored your debut goal! ⚽️👏🏼
FULL TIME | 6–0 WIN 🔥
A fantastic performance from the girls today as we secure a 6–0 victory and a clean sheet! 🧤👏
This week’s Manager’s POTM goes to Bee! 👏🏼
Bee showed great adaptability, changing her style of play at half-time to slot into CM and make a real impact. Her communication, feedback and willingness to lead by example were excellent💙⚽️
This week’s POTM goes to Amber! 👏🏼
Another strong performance from Amber, showing great physical strength and working tirelessly throughout the game to win the ball back, battle for possession and keep us moving forward. 💪⚽️
