Re-upping this pod from Friday. Are you ready for kickoff at 2:30 p.m.?
It's Iowa. It's Homecoming. It's a chance for the Gophers to change the narrative of their entire season.
Are we asking too much by asking for a win and something more than just an OK year?
@chipscoggins and I got into that on Daily Delivery.

The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources.
Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources.
Those employees got their hopes up in late September, when they were sent a fake championship ring offer as part of a phishing test.

Tons of great Quinn Hughes insights with longtime Canucks reporter @patersonjeff on today's Daily Delivery podcast.
The Wild and Hughes play at Vancouver on Sunday for the first time since the blockbuster trade last December.

Imagine saying Ant vs. Dame is a toss-up with a straight face.
Jeff Teague says he’s taking Portland’s backcourt over Minnesota’s
“Ja Morant is better than LaMelo Ball. And Anthony Edwards and Dame is a toss up.”
(Via @club520podcast / h/t @NBA__Courtside )
If there's a Gordie Howe Hat Trick (goal, assist, fight) in the NHL, can we have an Anthony Edwards triple in the NBA? (Points, rebounds, technical foul)?
Anyone surprised that Finch is playing 9 guys and one of them is Trey Lyles has not been watching the Wolves for the last 5 years. Finchy is a trust guy, and Trey is one of the guys he trusts.
Ant hit that three to put the Wolves up 78-61 and it seemed like Minnesota thought that somehow the game was over. Sloppy since then, Heat on a 9-0 run, Chris Finch not happy.
Kind of hilarious that Gobert did an in-game interview where he was asked about how this new Wolves offense will help him shine and then he had 0 points on 0 shots in 15 minutes

Great having the @HockeytownRD guys on Daily Delivery to talk about five months of the Dylan Larkin trade saga, whether a trade is imminent and how likely it still is that he ends up with the Minnesota Wild.
Check it out!

I wrote about Gophers hockey and the "patient urgency" coach Brett Larson is operating with as he navigates both the big picture and a tough start leading into Thursday's first home game against No. 3 North Dakota.

The Timberwolves tip things off for real in a little over 24 hours. I welcomed @JackBorman onto Daily Delivery for a season preview of sorts.
What do we like and what are we skeptical of as this new Wolves team gets ready to play?

Danila Yurov is playing like someone the Wild could package for Dylan Larkin. He's also playing well enough that maybe they shouldn't trade him at all.
But what if getting Larkin is the key to a Quinn Hughes extension?

The Vikings are back from their bye week, as one of the NFL’s last three unbeaten teams, and indications are they intend to be active before the Nov. 10 trade deadline. If they find the right partner, they could look to bolster their roster for a possible playoff run.
The Packers won. The Bears won. J.J. McCarthy threw for 243 yards in 11 minutes. Yeah, the Vikings had a bye week but a lot happened.

I wrote about the 2016 Vikings, who were 5-0 at the bye week before losing eight of their next 10 games.
What are the similarities (and more importantly the differences) between that team and the 2026 version of the Vikings?
