Karunesh and Neville episodes were soooooo nice to record. Karunesh, by the way, had a power cut at his place. He said wait, give me 20 minutes. I'll drive to another place and we will continue recording. And this was the first time I was talking to him.
Every new Karunesh video reminds me of the magical podcast of @RandomCricketP1 . It felt like conversations with the best friend you make in school, who happens to love cricket as much as you do. A rare gem that takes you back to the almost surreal era of Indian Test cricket.
Every time I pass by this, I really wonder what exactly is there for this number to be on such a big display in the heart of the capital? How is this no. an achievement in 2026, especially for a country already bursting at the seams and facing water and energy resource crunch?

At the Lil Flea, a man came up to an artist's stall and asked for the price of a notepad whose cover was beautifully illustrated. She told him the cost to which he said, "I'll find much something better and cheaper at a stationary and left. He might not have been wrong but why
anyway so tricky. And I found the work of the artist extremely beautiful. Having said that, that's not what colored my judgement. Don't know how others feel about it. Let me know your thoughts.

It's generally used with/for images. Just an attempt to leverage the human mind's tendency to expect something to pop up when a double click is done. And for that reason, it's mostly inserted a few milliseconds before the picture appears. I don't know what's the issue though.

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared.
Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

Apparently this cutting of over 32,000 trees on 233 ha in Bhimashankar forest near Pune is just first tranche of total three. Means around 90,000 to one lakh total trees will be cut. N indefinite number of species will be killed.
MH govt without consulting with us, citizens, cutting pristine forest over 600 ha that is 1500 acres which is 2-4 villages in Bhimashankar forest which is reserved area n vicinity to Pune.
Destroying western ghats is nothing but murder of its citizens by state govt led by bjp.
People in n around Pune need to come on streets against this brutality.
One of the most fascinating aspects of such long last wicket stands is how the lower order batter grows in confidence with every passing over. S/he's like a completely transformed individual by the end of the p'ship. Great to watch. Things you only get to see in ODIs and Tests.
Hey hey, but it's a 'meaningless ODI'.
Peak Pakistan cricket stuff! As Nasser Hussain said it ages ago, "Pakistan cricket at its best. One minute down, next minute up."

Planting new trees doesn’t magically undo the destruction of an entire ecosystem. You cannot replace centuries of biodiversity with a few saplings. Companies that destroy our natural resources should face severe penalties, including permanent closure when warranted. We’ve reached a point where protecting the planet is treated as optional, and that needs to change.
To think that even close to 80 years after independence, the political class thinks that it's a worthwhile exercise tells so much of what they think of the electorate. And if they keep flouting rules, then how do you get citizens to stop spitting/urinating/littering everywhere?
Oh there's another set of people who enter the metro with their mouth full. And the scariest experience is when you are sitting in a crowded metro and that uncle is standing right opposite you. When the train stops, it can get very bad very quickly. Or at least that's my fear.

There's another category of people who would enter an AC bus with a mouthful of gutkha. And, when they need to spit, they would casually walk up to the bus driver pushing the standing passengers & ask them to open the doors so that they can spit it. Bonkers !!
