The next few days will be best suited for the quickest of traders, and then after the elections we might see a significant change in price action.
Gotta love this market. We went from trading ASML and its sun-beating lasers firing 50,000 times per second to trading LW, maker of tater tots lol.
Select stocks are still working but you have to steer clear of the problem areas. NUE super breakout today. ETSY very strong. IT continues to move well. SN and other retail names continue to lead.
I agree with you. Quicker trades and only a few swings in the right groups.
Replying to @RandyOpper
Markets chops a lot more than it trends. Learning to trade chop can be extremely lucrative.
Momentum trading is very hard right now but this is the best market you could ask for as a rookie trader. You learn great defense. You sharpen your edge on entries. You learn to react quickly to changing conditions.
A good mean reversion snapback if you held on to some of those buys from yesterday. Not a strong market at all. Just a normal reaction to extreme selling.
Rejected under the resistance noted and already collected most of the gains in technology stocks today.
Conditions in the Nasdaq could improve if QQQ can hold above 715.50, which would open the door for a larger bounce. Below that, everything bought this morning is just a short-term trade.
A very good price action day for many stocks. Cybersecurity, software and retail continue to work. Last week’s tech selling dissipated and that made SOXL and DRAM a good buy today for a bounce trade. Not suggestive of a reversal in tech, just a mean reversion bounce.
Was a super 70% move for the MRNA trade but today the stock finally broke it's rising channel and stopped out.
