What exactly is @Reddit ads for? I get my posts removed or banned for self promotion when I’m paying to promote it.
How do you expect me to pay for Reddit ads when these subreddits hate self promotion?
If you don’t want my money just say it.
I tried Reddit ads.
Ended up getting my posts removed and banned from the subreddit I promoted in.
I spent around $4 and got a $45 lifetime purchase and 4 weekly trials from it.
Reddit is such a gold mine if it wasn’t for their strict self promotion bs.
I hate Reddit with a passion.
Like wtf is the point of Reddit Ads when you get your posts removed or banned for self promoting?
Wtf am I paying for when I’m not even allowed to promote it?
I tried Reddit ads today.
I spent $40 and I already got my money back.
Didn’t think about marketing through Reddit because of past experiences that led to my posts being removed and getting bad reviews for self promoting.
I’ll update how it goes.
My Mac isn’t compatible with the new Xcode for iPhone Duo.
So I can’t even optimize my current apps for Duo.
Apple, why do you do this to me 😫
I’ve been so focused on marketing my app these days that I haven’t even optimized my apps for iPhone Duo.
Reminder to everyone to keep going!
What once felt unreal to me became possible.
I know I’ll look back at this someday and see exactly how far I’ve come.
Making apps is so easy now that it makes sense that Apple is putting more restrictions.
They rejected my app for having a toggle switch on my paywall or asking for a review in my onboarding.
Even though it’s been approved before, once they tell me to get rid of it I’m getting rid of it.
No trying to go around it or resubmitting hoping it will get approved.
It’s not worth losing your dev account.
There are days when I doubt myself if my apps could ever give me financial freedom.
Then I think about the long months I’ve had wishing to get my first paying user.
The fact that I’m getting something everyday whether it be a trial, renewal, or conversion is a testament that perseverance will get me to reach it one of these days.
So wherever you are in your app journey, keep going!
Glad to have participated in this years #shipaton
My app STKR didn’t win, but it was a fun event nonetheless
Let’s try again next year!
