"AI is not here to replace the creatives. It’s another tool in the creative toolbox."
At The Assembly: Take One, our speakers shared how AI can help creators explore ideas, experiment faster and push their work in new directions.
For creators, that means new and easier ways to tell stories, create, collaborate and even turn your skills into opportunities.
Been experimenting with AI? The African AI Film Festival is giving creators a space to put that work out there.

@DrAyumeCharles, Guest of Honour at the #Hope4WarriorsMedicalCamp2026 Press Conference, called for stronger collective action to address the burden of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) in Uganda.
“I hold SCD very close to my heart, and we need to find better solutions together,” he said, urging that discussions on SCD be taken directly to the @KagutaMuseveni to encourage the same level of commitment demonstrated in the fight against HIV.
He called on corporate companies such as @mtnug, Rotaract and youth leaders to support SCD awareness initiatives, noting that many people remain unaware of the condition or their own SCD status.
He thanked Raremark Foundation and other stakeholders, noting that the camp had challenged the @GovUganda and @MinofHealthUG
“On behalf of the @MinofHealthUG, I pledge to increase the budget for SCD to ensure that you have more beds, medications and human resources,” he stated.
