Peace out 4th grade! I can't stop looking at my students' smiles from the last few minutes we had together. Despite this year's challenges and spending our time together mostly on Zoom, we still became family. 💙🦝 @RascalPride
Did you know that it took Michelangelo four years to paint the Sistine Chapel ceiling?!?! My students have a much greater appreciation for his talent after learning about him and experiencing 20 minutes of upside-down artwork! @RascalPride
Our final virtual field trip of the school year. We went back to Sutter's Fort to learn about agriculture. Feeling fortunate for this opportunity! @RascalPride @portsprogram
We can go anywhere with these virtual field trips! We took a trip to Sutter's Fort, the very place where gold was first discovered in California! @RascalPride
Second stop on our virtual field trip to La Purisima: candle making! @portsprogram @RascalPride #CAhistory #4thGradeRocks
Our final virtual field trip to La Purisima! First stop: learning how wool is cleaned, spun into yarn and, woven on the loom! @portsprogram @RascalPride #CAhistory #4thGradeRocks

Students showed great determination on their informational books! Planing, drafting, REVISING, REVISING, REVISING, and final edits! 🙌🏽 #WeAreWriters @RascalPride
WOW! After learning how to make an adobe brick, we learned how clay can be used for roofing, pipes, floor tiles, and pottery! @RascalPride @portsprogram
We love our virtual field trips to the La Purisima Mission! Today we learned about the hard work and process of adobe brick making! @portsprogram @RascalDavies
We had a blast learning how lungs work! Thanks to Mrs. Lila form @LLSusa for leading us in a STEM lesson! 🫁 @RascalPride
