I’m not seeing how people don’t understand and see the irony of men running in a race that is designed for women to run and feel safe in.
It doesn’t matter if some of the women brought their men. That’s YOUR husband and YOU feel safe around him. The purpose of this run was for every other female runner to feel safe as well. You do not get to make other women uncomfortable by prioritizing your own comfort in every space..
Maybe run in a unisex marathon.
