Because Kickstarter had to take down the project, I've uploaded the pitch video to YouTube. youtube.com/watch?v=Ul-aswQQ…

As much as it pains me to say this, you should go see Uncut Gems.

Warner Bros lawyers may have shut down the Kickstarter campaign, but no one can shut down an idea. Chris is the fourth person to digitally erase the rat at the end of The Departed. We will not be stopped!

Do NOT digitally erase the coffee cup from that one shot in Game of Thrones. It would violate the director’s artistic vision.
Game of Thrones accidentally leaves modern coffee cup on table, inspires new meme gizmo.do/58wwfP9

If any of you jokesters try to be clever and erase that brilliant symbolism, I swear that I will take your video, track the footage and reinsert the Starbucks cups. 3/3

A lot of people were mad at my Kickstarter to digitally erase the rat from the end of The Departed because it went against Scorsese's vision, so I hired a guy off Reddit to make a deepfake of my pitch video with Scorsese's face on my face. Hopefully this assuages their concerns.

For those keeping track at least three (3) people with a basic understanding of planar tracking have independently erased the rat at the end of The Departed. Thanks for your help but talk to me when you’ve printed it on 35mm film.

It’s the FULL movie with the rat erased at the end, let’s see how long this lasts.
Someone made a burner email to send me a link. Zero chance I’m going to click on it, but here’s a screenshot if any of you want to give it a shot. Best case scenario they deepfaked Scorsese’s face on my face. Worst case, I can’t even imagine. Most boring case, they erased the rat

I know what I’d change and why. The problem is I wasn’t allowed to.
If you could change the ending to any movie, what would you change and why?

This is in no way Kickstarter’s fault. The DMCA requires them to freeze the project. I have 30 days to challenge Warner Bros, but I think they have better lawyers than the ones I could afford.
LMAO…but also, honestly…I hope @kickstarter takes a stand here and tells Warner Bros. / pedantic lawyers to go fuck themselves. While this may be of questionable legality, going after tiny projects, especially w/ a strong fair use case e.g. parody, is an idiot move.
