RavenDB’s contextual embeddings can add document-level context to chunked vectors—no custom model required. Better retrieval, smarter chunking, and surprisingly strong benchmark gains. #RavenDB #AI ayende.com/blog/204099-A/con…

Multi-agents in RavenDB aren’t a swarm—they’re scoped, boring, and useful. Compose independent agents with clear boundaries, isolated context, and the right model for each job. #AI #RavenDB ayende.com/blog/204068-A/mul…

This isn’t even the example that’s really bad. Use compound or computed fields and watch per go through the floor because you defeated the index. This is why @RavenDB doesn’t even let you do it at all. If you need to do it, you use an index that’s the shape you need ahead of time instead of doing dumb stuff.

Switched from @postgres to @RavenDB. Reduced my time series data code by ~40% give or take from what I can tell with improved tagging, major performance boost, and fully managed rollups. This means improved tracking for @Eidolon_Labs backend RPCs, Player Wallets, and Data APIs!

Excellent product that once you understand how it does indexes, is the best of both worlds. To get the most out of it you need to understand databases but it has full vector and Lucene search built in, sharding, load balancing the whole deal that gets hard fast with others.

The YABT is a unique project (though I'm biased as the creator 😀). It shows how to design a general-purpose document #NoSQL DB and how to code against it, applying #DDD and #CQRS in the #DotNET tech stack. Coming with a front-end and a pre-populated DB.

I could not sleep lately and it made me play with Patricia trees, memory mapped files and storage. Not a bad throughput for a night hacking. github.com/Scooletz/Paprika Big thanks to @hyc_symas and @ayende and @RavenDB for making me interested in memory mapped stuff back in a day
