Now look at 2026: • Tech layoffs and hiring freezes • Shrinking job opportunities despite thousands of advertised positions • Canceled projects and hiring plans • Growing pressure on salaries • Rising property taxes, insurance costs, and household expenses Companies advertise jobs but hesitate to hire. Experienced professionals struggle to find employment while homeowners face mounting financial pressure. My prediction: A massive wave of foreclosures is coming if these trends continue. In 2008, the financial crisis unfolded under Bush amid the Iraq War. Today, economic uncertainty and the Iran conflict raise uncomfortable questions about whether history is repeating itself. And when the housing market deteriorates, the political blame game will begin. You cannot sustain a housing market when the people paying the mortgages are losing their jobs. I voted yesterday, and I voted for candidates from both parties. I vote for policies, not party labels. As a Texan, I care about border security, fighting drug cartels and human trafficking, protecting children, and keeping property taxes affordable. Families are already struggling with mortgages, inflation, and declining job opportunities. We need accountability for every tax dollar. I also expect evidence when politicians make serious accusations. Criticizing a prosecutor’s handling of a child abuse case is legitimate. But questioning a plea deal is not proof that the prosecutor himself is a pedophile. Political accusations should never replace facts. Putin’s baseless claims about Zelenskyy’s alleged drug use remind us why evidence matters. And corruption deserves scrutiny regardless of party. A presidential pardon does not automatically establish innocence, just as an indictment does not establish guilt. I want transparency, responsible spending, tax relief, and public safety.
