#Clayface was pretty good! I wouldn’t call it a “horror” movie, but it’s pretty gorey and the effects are awesome. It’s sometimes bogged down by lackluster writing and confusing performances, but overall, it’s a fun watch. I’m also glad Matt wasn’t written too sympathetically.

I was afraid the movie would give him a sob story and harp on how sad his life is (à la Joker), but it really didn’t… in fact, it kinda did the opposite. I never had a feel for him so when he started going nuts it felt a little sudden, I guess? Like we never saw the “real” him?

The villain was also sorta lame. But it wasn’t so bad that it genuinely took away from my enjoyment (and his final scene is… NASTY). Clayface’s final form is pretty sick. I guess all i have to say now is… I want to see this guy fight Batman.
