UK offering Freedom of Movement would be the game changer for conversations with the EU, one of the trio of people, pounds and positivity I identified earlier this year as crucial to any significant move to removing barriers. thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

🇬🇧🇪🇺 Reform is finished. The anti-EU party has fallen from first place a year ago to third. Labour, the party bringing the UK back towards the EU, leads the polls at 30%. Reform championed a Brexit that saw non-EU migration surge while European migration collapsed. A Brexit sold on lies that held back productivity, growth and British wages. Soon they will see the UK rejoin the EU and put an end to their sham. Great news for Britain.

Replying to @FraserNelson
You are generous, Fraser. I saw Kruger appear at the National Conservatism conference in London in 2023 and it was already clear what the trajectory of this form of politics was. The mystical-religious aspect of it was never going to fly. And that would leave 'Goodwinism', an ever shriller appeal to that more atavistic emotion: fear of the other.

I feel for Danny Kruger. He's a decent guy and when he defected to Reform he had no idea it would end up engaging in this type of racial politics - or that that he'd end up in interviews like this. But Tim's right: in a party full of moments, this is a moment.
🚨 COMING UP: Reform UK's Danny Kruger REFUSES to condemn high-profile Reformer's 'disgusting slur' towards Kemi Badenoch... You won't want to miss this... 🎧 Tune in from 4:30pm with @CamillaTominey and @timothy_stanley through the link in our bio

ZELENSKYY OUTMANEUVERS TRUMP AGAIN What began as an attempt to pressure Ukraine through Starlink restrictions appears to have backfired politically. The United States reportedly restored critical satellite communications for Ukrainian forces, while lawmakers from both parties intensified pressure on the Trump administration. On October 22–23, several congressional initiatives emerged. A bipartisan group of lawmakers demanded that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth expand the Pentagon’s Starshield contract with SpaceX and restore Ukraine’s full access to Starlink and Starshield without speed restrictions. Three members of Congress representing Silicon Valley called on White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles to investigate who authorized the restrictions and whether SpaceX violated its government contracts. They requested a briefing within 14 days. Meanwhile, Republican Brian Fitzpatrick introduced legislation alongside Republican Don Bacon and Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez. The proposal would reverse the Treasury Department’s October 9 authorization involving Russian diesel transactions and require continued U.S. intelligence sharing and satellite imagery support for Ukraine. Any suspension of such assistance would require notification to congressional intelligence committees within 24 hours. According to The New York Times, senators from both parties also warned that they could block Trump administration nominees until critical satellite communications for Ukraine were restored. Fitzpatrick reportedly went further, threatening consequences for officials responsible for the restrictions, including potential dismissals and departmental budget cuts. The controversy has reportedly angered not only Democrats but also Republicans who support Ukraine. Trump appears to have retreated under mounting pressure. But the larger political consequences may only be beginning. Instead of weakening Ukraine, the Starlink controversy has given its supporters in Congress another reason to challenge the administration. And with the November elections approaching, this confrontation could become even more significant. Zelenskyy may have turned another moment of vulnerability into political leverage in Washington.

They are fucked. Completely fucked. For Reform momentum is everything. Once they lose that, it’s game over. They have no plan for when it happens either. This is the beginning of the end for them.

Just like 🇬🇧Reform slipping behind in the polls, 🇩🇪AfD is now also "falling to its lowest level in months"👇 Looks like far right parties with dodgy finances are losing their appeal (with Trump's totally corrupt 🇺🇸 administration also serving as a wake-up call)

Obama: "The guy has become billions of dollars wealthier in office. Nobody disputes this! It's just -- how do you do that when you're supposed to be looking out for you? And the worst part of it not a single Republican in Congress has done anything to stop it."

Jenrick absolutely vile on Sky this morning and blatantly in contempt of court. In protecting his beloved Leader he referenced an 'attack' on Farage's home and te murder of Ann Widdicombe - what he stated was a clear contempt of Court (and not protected by Parliamentary privilege in a TV studio) - all to defend the £5million for security...

Trump is seriously threatening Ukraine with the imposition of 200% tariffs should it fail to reach a peace agreement. Granted, he also makes threats against Russia, but the world knows that he never follows through on threats directed at Russia. This guy is twisted and evil.

🔥🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Trump’s White House is considering MASS PREEMPTIVE PARDONS for junior staff involved in deportations, war, and trade policy, potentially shielding thousands of officials from federal prosecution, according to The Washington Sun. But there’s a catch Trump may not like: Once pardoned, those officials could lose their Fifth Amendment protection against self-incrimination for the covered offenses, allowing Congress to compel testimony.

BREAKING: In an amazing and rare political moment, Bill Clinton in one fell swoop, just humiliated Donald Trump for turning the White House Rose Garden into what looks like Liberace's bathroom and hammering Congressional Republicans for allowing it. This is amazing.

Trump's uncle did NOT invent radar. The "first practical radar system" was patented by Sir Robert Watson-Watt, who built on the work of others such as Heinrich Hertz and Christian Huelsmeyer. Why lie about this?

When Trump is in political trouble he dials up his racist demagoguery. And yet US allies still pay lip service to "shared values", bow reverentially before him and pretend America hasn't changed.
Trump pushes gutter racism: "The guy in Michigan is pretty bad too -- Mohammed, as I call him ... if you have any question about somebody from that part of the world's name, just call him 'Mohammed,' you'll be right 64% of the time."
