3. There is still too many pod shops, period. Looking at the past 24-36 months returns of some firms I wonder who the LPs are. IMO some "tier 2" shops benefited from the top 3 returning capital. Nevertheless, I expect more pod shops to shut, net returns for many too low.

intelligence comes in many forms Steve Mandel (Lone Pine): "But one thing that we've learned, or I've learned, is people can be unbelievably smart, but if they're very linear thinkers, they will never work as an analyst. We are always dealing in shades of grey, probabilities. If somebody has to know the answer, like to a math problem or whatever, if they have to know the answer, there is never the answer in our world. And so those people can be incredibly smart and might be winning Nobel Prizes or whatever, but they can't work in our world because our world is all about probabilities and weighing outcomes. And if that makes you uncomfortable, it's just not the work for you."

With $SLS 80th event in the bag, we should come together as a group and create a list of all the ways Sterg is going to spin the failure. I really hope he invents something new, and doesn't just rely on the old standbys.

The only right way for Merck to announce Tuli data is this. PR 1 - here is our trash Tuli 15% CR and 5% ER delta (maintenance) PR 2: Merck has entered in an agreement to acquire ABVX for X$/share There is no better way.
