UPDF would need a very capable drone squad. Speaking of, energy and internet connectivity getting to the farthest corners of the country is matter of national security in this age of high-tech war.
Are you saying if we were at war with DRC, UPDF would be incapable of staving off infiltration from enemy combatants?

I think the Russians would also give you some trouble over that.
“Tax free” untill your container full of Lenin and furniture arrives in nakawa then you will know the real Uganda.

This is my feminist! 😆
If your whole personality is fighting women online, don’t call yourself a high-value man. You are just a woman.

They were probably pressured by the govt to invest so that the listing wouldn't flop, so this might be a welcome opportunity to exit the position.
This is the oddest play. How would their boards explain that decision?

I would assume NSSF didn't sell.
Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote has confirmed his firm acquired a 25% stake in Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), according to a Bloomberg Terminal report on October 21, 2026. Speaking at an event in London, Dangote said the investment would support the distribution of petroleum products. The announcement identifies the buyer behind Monday’s KSh 42.5 Bn block trade involving 4.5 Bn shares, equivalent to 24.76% of KPC. President William Ruto had confirmed the shares were acquired from public entities. Business Daily reported at least eight parastatals participated in the sale. Major post-IPO public investors included NSSF, UFAA and State-backed pension schemes. The individual sellers and Dangote’s acquiring legal entity remain undisclosed.

Interesting.
Dangote confirms they purchased the ~25% stake in $KPC I guess it makes perfect sense for the Lamu refinery and distribution.

We should stop pretending that the border with DRC isn't as porous as every other border. Since we now understand the concept of asymptomatic cases we should admit to ourselves that temperature guns are not really an effective screening tool. Both cases of ebola that transited through Uganda were already undergoing treatment so that likely masked the usual symptoms.
Ebola has hurt Uganda even in its absentia! However, we must be truthful to ourselves, how do patients get flights from Uganda? We're contesting the Nigeria case, okay, info will come in. What about the Kenyan case? 7 contacts directly linked, did we do contact tracing here?

Those are just sharp guys that want to use church to chew Watoto babes that will then claim they converted them. There's no atheist hanging around church.
Watoto church should get worried about atheists claiming its their best place to go. Something is not right, somewhere.

It looks like BOU's intervention didn't make much of a dent in the short term. It's going to be a tough holiday season.

If a woman wants to end things when you've not done anything wrong, she will give you the most fantastic and mind boggling excuse. Zelenskyy's wife has not asked him for a divorce but Svitolina is leaving Gael Monfils because of the war in Ukraine?

I got an urn necklace so I can take my mom's ashes with me to New York. I thought it would be a really emotional experience transferring some of the ashes into the necklace. I was wrong.

NBC News: Federal prosecutors say it was the Saudi military who paid for the family of Abdulrahman Alfozan to fly to Saudi Arabia about 36 hours after his arrest. Alfozan is the man accused of planting a surreptitious recording device at OpenAI.
