I told my students it was time for silent reading. One of my kids comes over to read and brings her personal @FarmersAlmanac and @NASeedsource catalog. I was so proud! She wants to be a Master Naturalist when she grows up. @TexasMasterNat @NISDBoldt @SillerRosie @ChristinaEscar3

We prepped for the #STAAR today by relaxing and reading @texaswildlife “Critter Connections” about #backyardbirds. Then students wrote a short response! We finished by heading outdoors to see if we could spot some of the birds we read about! @NISDBoldt @BoldtElemGarden – at San Antonio, TX

Thank you @ecorise for awarding the funds to purchase seeds for our first ever @NISDBoldt community seed library! We can’t wait to set it up! @BoldtElemGarden @SillerRosie @ChristinaEscar3 #WeRise #EcoTeacher #SeedLibrary #Sustainability #community #gardening – at San Antonio, TX
