My hot take: Hank Green is simply the latest witch people are burning on the stake of AI hatred. As someone who studies dark history, including a lot of mass hysteria incidents, the rush to decide a verdict before looking at the context and the willingness to misrepresent what was actually said is disturbingly similar to the violent groupthink that precedes mass violence and hysteria. Wherever there is upheaval, change, fear, and stress, valid concerns become the justification for completely obscene and unjustified persecution. Whoever can be made to look like the representation of what's perceived as the threat is good enough, truth be damned. Reality: Hank was referring to actual pushback he got from his guest. Online: People heard five words attributed often to LLM residue and were happy to sacrifice him as the latest fallen angel. Reality: Hank said he uses LLMs to find sources, but not to do writing or thinking, and has always maintained that no scripting is done with LLMS. Online: Hank admits to using AI! If society keeps going like this, we won't have to worry about AI ending us. We'll do it ourselves by tearing each other apart. #hankgreen #AI #witchhunt

Truly so sick of this. YouTube is a bot-run wasteland taking out hard-working incredible creators for no good reason. But do report another record quarter of profit. Stealing will do that. Darkness is the best of us. Fix your system.
Yeah I got demonetized. Watch this video.

Me just waiting for the moment when everyone realizes that just because an LLM overuses a phrase doesn't mean anyone who says it is using an LLM.

Alaska really does seem to have a special kind of lore about it. Of all the stories I've told, there are a few places that seem to just be different in their hauntings lol. Alaska is definitely one of them. If you want to learn about some of the individual ghosts that haunt Alaska, check out my eBook: stonegravemedia.com/product-…

Hey all. Just wanted to do my part to get eyes on this. Kimberly has been an active supporter of the narration community for a long time. She's been struggling with brain cancer and other chronic health issues for a while now and just suffered a mini stroke the other day. She's started a gofundme to try to raise some money to buy a vehicle to allow her and her husband to make it to her family in Michigan, so if you want to help out, this is the link. “Cryptid” is a modern Western word focused on biology: breeding populations, diet, DNA, camera traps. In Alaska, many stories are about “beings” instead—entities that blur animal, spirit, and person. Read more about it in my book: stonegravemedia.com/product-…

This isn’t a “field guide to monsters.” Cryptids of Alaska looks at Kushtaka, Urayuli, lake beings, and more as part of how Indigenous and local communities map danger, respect, and survival in a harsh landscape. stonegravemedia.com/product-…

If you cut Alaska out of a map and laid it over the Lower 48, it would stretch from the East Coast to California—and much of that has no roads, no cell signal, and no easy way out. That’s where the cryptid stories in this book live. stonegravemedia.com/product-…

The art shop is open...but it's closing on Friday! New collections are coming, so outside of brief November availability (for Christmas gifts) this set won't be available in full for quite some time. Shop now if you wanted some! stonegravemedia.com/shopart August 1st begins abrand new era, including new art collections, so the full legacy set won't be around much anymore. Certain pieces might make seasonal reappearances, but mostly I'm making room for wha'ts new. <3 Also, dropping smaller collections means I can have some inventory on hand, which will make the long shipping cycle much shorter. Alaska has the highest missing‑persons rate in the U.S.—and a triangle of land, sea, and ice where people and planes vanish at unsettling rates. Learn how that “Alaska Triangle” intersects with cryptid lore in Cryptids of Alaska. stonegravemedia.com/product-…

Most “monster” stories are just weekend campfire material. In Alaska, they double as safety briefings about rivers, ice, and getting lost in country that goes on forever. Explore why in Cryptids of Alaska. stonegravemedia.com/haunteda…
