There are 69 horses entered in the #BreedersCup Juvenile races. 43 w North America trainers, 26 w Euro trainers
Of the NA entries 2 horses have 5+ starts. Of the Euro's 21 have 5+ starts
The 26 Euro's have a combined 139 starts (5.34/runner) vs NA 131 starts (3.04/runner)
My unpopular opinion. Racing people can't lament sires covering 250 mares and ask for more stallion diversity while also slamming every stallion deal not going to a MG1W HOTY candidate. Lightly raced runners being stallions gave us Danzig, Malibu Moon, Macleans Music, etc.
📣 Stakes-winning ‘TDN Rising Star’ Colloquial (Vekoma) has been formally retired from racing and will begin stallion duties at @AirdrieStud for the 2027 breeding season.

Not in our silks anymore, but cool to see Horsetron win at @keenelandracing. Bought him for $1k as a short yearling and didn't know if he'd ever make the racetrack. Won a couple races for us and is 1 for 1 for his new connections now, such a cool horse.

Our @thoroughcrowd filly Unfaithful Rose gets her 3rd win in a row. Rose loves to compete and takes pride in passing other horses. @josebracho1997 did just that beautifully with her today. @EWest592 had her fit, focused and ready to roll. 👋❤️👋

Really impressive performance by our Vino Rosso filly, Unfaithful Rose. Now a 4x winner, 3rd in a row. Won on turf and dirt. @spendthriftfarm Thanks to @EWest592 for the continued great job and @josebracho1997 who dominates when he rides for @thoroughcrowd!
Unfaithful Rose makes it three wins in a row after another nice win at @JACKThistledown! Another great ride by @josebracho1997 and great conditioning by @EWest592 as usual!
Win at Ellis vs 50k NW2L, then 50k/1x at Colonial, now an easy 1x win at Thistle. Rose been on a roll!

In 2019 Ma'am was bred to the stallion Creative Capital. He had two mares bred to him that year and Ma'am did not get in foal.
In 2023 Ma'am was bred to Wells Bayou, he covered two mares and Ma'am was the only to get in foal.
Between those breedings she produced a Derby winner.
Crazy day for unheralded stallions at Belmont Park. War of Will is listed at $5k and has probable BC favorite in USS Valor. Wells Bayou is gelded & apparently only got one mare in foal as a sire, but picked the right mare. And Tacitus says hello from Korea w/ a Frizette winner.
This was my favorite yearling we bought last year, got a little nervous after her debut, but the two turf starts have been extremely gutsy efforts
A three way thriller @HSIndyRacing! 📸
QUAINTRELLE ($27.40), stayed rooted to the rail with Albin Jimenez, and got the close call for @EWest592 and @thoroughcrowd in the Maiden Juvenile Fillies Turf Mile over #4 BOSS LADY KAR and #8 DART TO NABERS. The daughter of Improbable starts the 1st leg of the Horseshoe Hat Trick All-Turf Pick 3. More finishes like that, please!

Odenkirk just won on debut @WoodbineTB. Looked like a Barracuda out there for trainer @markecasse.
Finally got my Girvin yearling
Third yearling acquired from @keenelandsales is Hip 3631 a lovely daughter of a stallion we love, GIRVIN (RIP). Think this filly has a ton of room to grow and improve being an April 28th foal.
