Today at the European Parliament, Iranian opposition leader @PahlaviReza and EPP Group Vice-Chair @fxbellamy MEP held a press briefing. They were joined by family members of victims of the January massacres. Discussions focused on the threat posed by the Iranian regime to Europe and the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom and democracy.
As MEP @fxbellamy stressed:
“The fall of the mullahs’ regime would be a liberation for the Iranian people and a major turning point for Europe’s security and freedom. The destinies of Iran and Europe are intertwined.”
The future of Iran matters, and Europe cannot look away.

سفرم را با پیامی روشن در بروکسل آغاز کردم: اروپا باید به مماشات پایان دهد و در کنار مردم ایران بایستد.
رژیمی که در خاک اروپا عملیات تروریستی طراحی می‌کند، شهروندان را به گروگان می‌گیرد، موشک‌هایی می‌سازد که اروپا را در تیررس قرار می‌دهند و از جنگ روسیه علیه اوکراین پشتیبانی می‌کند، آزادی و امنیت اروپا را نیز تهدید می‌کند.

Today in Brussels, I met with General Christophe Gomart, Vice-Chair of the European Parliament’s Committee on Security and Defence.
I thanked him for his steadfast support for the Iranian people’s struggle against the Islamic Republic, and for his deep respect for Iran’s civilization.
We discussed practical means of support, including keeping Iranians connected to the internet. I welcome his commitment to working with us to advance the Iranian people’s cause at the European level.

La sécurité de l’Europe passe par la chute du régime des mollahs. Drones iraniens contre l’Ukraine, missiles menaçant l’Europe, Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, cellules dormantes et réseaux terroristes sur notre sol, déstabilisation du Moyen-Orient et menaces sur nos approvisionnements énergétiques.
Rencontre passionnante avec le prince @PahlaviReza . Le renversement du régime passera nécessairement par une action au sol. Mais il faut passer par trois leviers :
1. Renforcer la résistance intérieure : résilience et moyens de défense de la population, accès à Internet et aux réseaux sociaux, davantage de défections au sein du régime.
2. Affaiblir le régime : mobiliser les pays voisins, couper les financements du Hezbollah, du Hamas et des Houthis, faire pression sur ses soutiens russes, chinois et nord-coréens, examiner les circuits financiers liés au Qatar et au Pakistan, agir sur les avoirs gelés en Allemagne et au UK.
3. Créer un mouvement international de soutien : mobiliser États et opinions publiques, coordonner les pressions et préparer la transition démocratique.

As I arrive in Brussels, the capital of Europe, to meet with its leaders, the criminal regime in Iran has murdered two more protesters from the January 8 and 9 protests. Amir Hossein Ebrahimi and Amir Hossein Maleki were put to death this morning, killed by the Islamic Republic, for the crime of wanting to be free.
I am in Brussels with a clear message: the era of appeasement must end. Appeasement means more dead, innocent Iranians. Now is the time for moral courage and strategic clarity. Now is time to help the Iranian people end this reign of terror.

A coordinated mass-reporting campaign backed by the Islamist regime in Iran has been targeting Iran-based, anti-regime, pro-Pahlavi accounts on X, leading to their suspension.
Many of these accounts are eventually restored, sometimes after days or even months, because the reports against them are baseless. But the damage is already done. Suspensions, especially repeated ones, can completely derail an account’s growth, reach, and ability to communicate.
This is a deliberate, coordinated attempt by the regime to manipulate and control the Iran narrative on X.
It is essential that @X and @Support investigate this abuse and take action against accounts engaged in systematic, meritless mass reporting of dissidents.
This is particularly urgent for dissidents inside Iran. They are risking their lives to tell the world what is happening in their country. They should not also have to fight coordinated efforts by the regime to silence them on X.

آبانگان، جشن کهن ایرانی و یادگار ارزشمند نیاکان ما، نمادی از احترام دیرینه ایرانیان به آب، طبیعت و زندگی، و یادآور مسئولیت ما در پاسداری از میراث طبیعی ایران برای نسل‌های آینده است.
در دوره تاریک جمهوری اسلامی، طبیعت ایران نیز همچون مردم آن، قربانی دهه‌ها سوءمدیریت، بی‌کفایتی و تاراج شده است. جنگل‌های رو به نابودی، رودها و تالاب‌های خشکیده و زیستگاه‌های آسیب‌دیده، گواه این ویرانی‌اند.
در این شرایط، محیط‌بانان شریف و فداکار ایران، با وجود کمبود امکانات و نبود حمایت‌های قانونی و معیشتی، همچنان از میراث طبیعی میهن پاسداری می‌کنند و گاه در این راه جان می‌بازند. در این آبانگان، یاد محیط‌بانان جان‌باخته را گرامی می‌دارم و از هم‌میهنانم می‌خواهم در نبود یک دولت ملی، با همکاری محیط‌بانان و تلاش دوچندان برای حفاظت از طبیعت، از این امانت گران‌بها پاسداری کنند.
در ایران آزاد، احیای جنگل‌ها و تالاب‌ها، حفاظت از زیستگاه‌ها و حیات‌وحش، و مدیریت علمی منابع طبیعی، از اولویت‌های ملی خواهد بود. همچنین تأمین امنیت جانی و شغلی، حمایت قانونی، تجهیزات مناسب و معیشت شایسته محیط‌بانان، ضرورتی انکارناپذیر است.
