I've been testing some of the cards revealed in the trailer on tcgmini. I'm a little worried. These cards need some support from the rest of the set to dethrone the current meta.

No more losing rank points in Masterball. Not really sure who this helps, casual players already just play to MB and quit when they get their hourglasses. Really just seems like they want to reinforce that this game isn’t supposed to be competitive AT ALL.

The changes to step up battles might be good! This is a step in the right direction. All we need now in the anniversary set is some kind of new game mode and they might be able to attract players back. Are the laziest devs in gaming finally locking in?

Team rocket was a fun set for pocket! The problem is it's release timing. It's such a small set, and deluxe 2 is coming next month. If we receive no new content alongside deluxe 2 we might be cooked.

Just wanted to give you a heads up! It looks like the team forgot to go over this during today’s panel. We were told there would be new content shown during the stream, so quite a few of us viewers were pretty disappointed when that didn’t happen. At least the tweet was published but hopefully, there can be a bit more coordination for the next one!
