Here's my workflow of adding the 4th dribble to an idle dribble animation (I'm making each animation in the locomotion system have 4 dribbles, hoping to replicate how 4-Bar phrases in music creates great rhythm & transition opportunities)

Most modern games have replaced freestyle customization with purchasable skins. Real Hoops 1 will do the opposite. We will have the deepest character customization a sports game has ever seen. #RealHoops

DEV UPDATE!!! This has never been done before (to my knowledge at least) You can fully dictate where your 1-2 step goes! Just hold the left stick in whatever direction you want the steps to be in. Here's an example of how a cradle layup can turn into a euro step:
