Are you ever scared? That’s okay. Fear is our natural response to a perceived threat, or to stepping into something uncertain that matters to us. It can show up before important decisions, hard conversations, or moments when we have to step outside our comfort zones. 🧵1/3

I felt it when I applied to become a USAF Thunderbird pilot. It was a months-long process, and voices of doubt and uncertainty rang in my ears all along the way. But I understood as a fighter pilot that uncertainty came with the job. 🧵2/3

It wasn’t a stop sign; it was a sign what I was doing was significant. I learned to use fear of failure as a tool to focus on what is important. Fear often comes during periods of growth. When has your fear signaled a transformation in your life?. 🧵3/3

I had to lean into flexibility many times as a fighter pilot. A mission changed mid-flight… a plan fell apart and required me to pivot… the unexpected demanded a decision on the fly and fast. Staying flexible helped me lead effectively in high-risk situations. 🧵(2/3)

Have you ever watched a movie where the good guy is attacked again and again, and been amazed at how they keep getting back in the fight? That person is a real superhero. Every setback shows your vulnerability, but it's your recovery makes you relatable. 🧵(1/2)

🔥Leadership isn’t a popularity contest. It’s holding the line when support fades. Sticking to your standards isn’t stubbornness. 💪It’s strength. Using the courage of your convictions turns vision into reality. ⭐Stand firm. The path to success rarely starts w/a crowd of allies.
