Why Iowa State Players Left… It Wasn’t Always Their Choice 😔
@BrentBlum shares the hard truth most fans don’t see:
Some fifth-year seniors wanted to stay at Iowa State.
But the new staff simply didn’t have the NIL resources. These players were offered half to a third of what they made the year before at Iowa State.
“What are they supposed to do?”
It’s easy for fans to call them disloyal when you’re not the one facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost money at age 20.
A raw, empathetic look at the real NIL world and why leaving sometimes isn’t a choice.

The best.
